ABOUT

Embroidery Express has been established on the Sunshine Coast since 2013, operating under a different name for another 14 years before that.

With more than 20 years' experience, we pride ourselves on being a locally owned, home-run business. We like to add personal touches that some of the big businesses lack—like being flexible with our hours so you can collect your embroidery at a time that suits you.

We also offer a pick-up and drop-off service to all suburbs of the Sunshine Coast and Hinterland area. Plus, if you don't have time to source your own uniforms we can help you with that too.

No job is too small or too big, whether you've got one custom-embroidered hat or a run of 50 business shirts needing a logo.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • What size should my logo be to embroider a shirt?

The ideal size for a logo on the breast of a shirt is 100mm long. We size logos for embroidering by how large the smallest font is. We recommend no smaller than 5mm, otherwise the text becomes unreadable.

  • Can you embroider my business or team logo?

Yes, we can. We can also digitise your logo design so it's compatible with our embroidery machines and deliver your uniforms back to your workplace once the run is complete.

  • How well can you colour match my logo?

We have a wide range of threads in different colours that allows us to match the colours of your logo. Our aim is to provide the most accurate representation of your design, no matter what colour the shirt.

  • What is digitising?

Digitising is the process of converting your logo file into a format the embroidery machine can read. Usually vector, PDF or JPEG formats work best for this process. This also only needs to be done once, as after the image is digitised we can use that file for every embroidery run.

  • Do you supply shirts, aprons, scrubs, etc?

Yes we do. Often, this can even save you money. The apparel we provide is compatible with embroidery, where some stiffer fabrics don't embroider as well. Ordering apparel through our suppliers will ensure you don't spend unnecessary money on clothing that can't be used.

Each of our suppliers has trusted agents and warehouses in Australia, so there's no long turnaround for delivery and we can get your job back to you quickly.
